  1. Hi,

Firstly. thanks for a great program: this is exactly what I was looking for; a simple integration of images into my blog that doesnt require much work - as Im a beginner with all of this.

I'm having a bit of a problem with the images not going to the 'uploads' directory: I'm not a php expert, but it appears that none of the directories defined in the various photosmash variables ('thumbs' + 'docs' etc) get created.

'wp-content' and its sub-directories are given permissions 775, but even switching 777 doesnt help.

As I say: the created images show up in the wp-content directory, and I have to manually copy them to 'uploads' before they work correctly.

Do you know what could be causing the problem? Any help appreciated!

In the future: would there be any easy way to define a single "library" directory within the control panel?

I'm using WP WordPress 2.8.6. as the 2.9 upgrade doesnt go well for me :-)

    Cheers,

    scythe.

  2. HI Scythe,

It sounds like you may have a WordPress setting problem.

Go to you Admin/ Settings / Miscellaneous and make sure the first setting, "Store uploads in this folder", is set to : wp-content/uploads

Leave the "Full URL path to files" setting blank.

    Hopefully that will work.

  3. It looks like that was it :-)

Now its working! "miscellaneous" HA! who woulda guessed?
    Thanks SO MUCH !

  4. Heh! Yeah...so inappropriately named, 'miscellaneous'!!!

    You're welcome.
