  1. hi there, i was using nextgen before and i found it nearly impossible to figure out. this plugin looks a lot more user friendly and glad to see there is good documentation and support.

ok i'm looking to achieve what i wrote in this thread:
    http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687502

and was further directed to a portion in the codex.

  2. Hi mrtunes,

    Thanks for the comments!

I'm not much up on the archives building, but there is a plugin that might help you:

Note that above the Demos are toggles for showing the posts and everything.

Given that Vladimir put together this awesome plugin, he'd probably have a quick answer too. BTW, his book helped me sooo much in figuring out WP & plugins.

    Cheers,
    Byron

  3. hi byron, thanks for responding. so let's say i installed this plugin, which part of your gallery would i go to to integrate it?

  4. MT,

I think I misunderstood your original question. I was thinking that you were looking for a way to display your post archives. Which wouldn't necessarily have integration with a photo gallery.

Can you give me a better idea of what you're end result is supposed to be, and how you want a photo gallery to be part of it?

    Thanks,
    BB

  5. hi, no problem.
we will upload images into a gallery of a construction site. every time we upload a new set, we'd like to display the date they were uploaded on. in textpattern we have a tag called "if different". if this content is from a different date, then display what date is. the snippet i found in the codex does it similar.

  6. Hi MT,

I don't think PhotoSmash can emulate this behavior. There is a tag for displaying the [date_added] in a custom layout, but it will not group the images by date. Sorry,
    BB
