hello, i wonder if it's possible to embed a search by filename in the gallery

Yes. PhotoSmash Extend has a module called Extended Navigation which gives you Search capabilities...it searches the following fields: tags, caption, image url, image attribution, and user login (who uploaded it).

hmm...but i need a search for the file name, because my images are with numbers, so if someone look for the 1200th image, can simply search for 1200, it's that possible without creating a custom attribute? i upload a LOT of image, and adding a custom attribute would be really annoying :(

Kilik,

Yes...the file name is in the url. It would actually be something like uploads/2010/10/Image_1200.jpg. So if you searched on 1200, you'd get that.
