  1. Hey Byron. Sorry to bother you...I tried hard to figure this out, but I couldn't :(

I added a custom field [where_is_it]. It appears nice and beautiful on the form but when I enter the data it doesn't save it. Another thing, when I add the generated tag on custom layout the outcome is the tag "[where_is_it]" printed....

When creating the custom field I wasn't sure thought what to put on "Label" and on "Default value". the label I put "where is it" and the later I left blank...

Any ideas on the matter? Cheers

  2. John,
Did you Generate the table in Custom Fields? It shouldn't be printing out [where_is_it] like that...that likely means it's not stored in the definitions table, but check to make sure the Table got generated. Actually, if the table wasn't generated, it might print out...not sure.

    Hope that's the answer...fingers crossed.

    BB

  3. Unfortunately it wasn't. I had generated the table before and to be sure I added a new custom field to test and again same result.

It does everything else like showing on the tags list as custom tag, but doesn't save the info entered and print the tag...

If anything else cross your mind, please let me know. Cheers

  4. Ugggggg...I seem to have broken it!!!

    Must fix soon!

  5. Oh, wait!! Go to PhotoSmash Settings / Advanced, and make sure "Show Custom Fields in Default Form:" is turned on.

I'm going to fix it so that this setting isn't necessary. It's tripped me up too many times!

  6. Hahahaha! Perfect! Yes, that was the "problem".

    Everything is working perfectly!!

    Thanks again Byron!!!
