Hi.
I tried to add the link "Add Photo" linking to the login page but didn't work.
The level to upload pictures is "subscribers" but when i visit the page not logged in, no link shows up...so people can't know that they can actually upload pics..
How I did it: I went to the Advanced settings and on the "Msg - No Authorization for Uploading:" I wrote [login]. Is that the correct way?

Just disabled all plugins and activated them again...

You're trying to get the Message that tells people to log in if they aren't? That's a different problem than esqueci's. I need to look into that.

Yes, isn't that the way to do it? By entering [login] on the "Msg - No Authorization for Uploading." I have the level set to subscribers, but users who aren't logged in can't see the "Add Photo" button, so they would need a message asking them to login/register to upload a photo.

Ok, the No Authorization for Uploading message only applies when you are showing the form alone (i.e. no_gallery=true). Something like: [photosmash gallery=5 no_gallery=true form=std]
So, if you want to show this on a page that contains the form and the gallery, you need to set up 2 different shortcodes, one for the Gallery and one for the Form.
Try something like:
[photosmash gallery=5 no_gallery=true form=std] (note that you have to specify which form to use when using no_gallery=true...std = standard form)
[photosmash gallery=5 no_form=true]
