  1. Hi,
I have one user telling me that she is unable to upload images to my gallery but i have been able to and other users have been able to .. so i am wondering whether she might be uploading an image which is too large or too big in file dimensions.

She says she follows the process and then nothing happens.
So just wondering is there an error message or does the user get a message if they just to upload outside the specifications ?

Or whether anyone has any other suggestions on what this might be ?

    Thanks

  2. Hi bels,

Yes, it does give an error message if images are too big. You might check your PhotoSmash Settings / Images tab and set the "Maximum image files size " to something you know will upload (you can go to Plugin Info and look for "PHP Memory Limit"...if this is less than 40Mb, you'll want to set it to something like 600000).

That will give you a solid error message if you upload to something bigger than that. The Max Upload Size is deceiving since it doesn't account for resizing which blows memory bad.

    Hope that helps,

  3. cheers thanks :) i just checked i already had this set at that :)

  4. Welcome...sorry that wasn't the answer. Not sure what's going. It sounds as if she's got Javascript turned on.

Maybe she could email you the image and you could test uploading it. Just a thought.
