  1. Hi Byron..I am Devine Davidson. I saw your demo gallery intended to demonstrate the functionality of the PhotoSmash plugin. I found it in the following url. "http://smashly.net/photosmash-galleries/photosmash-demo/". I like that very much. Can u send me the codes for that demo gallery? Also can I get ur help in editing the code so that the image uploads directly to my server?

    Thanks in Advance....

  2. Hi Devine,

You should be able to get the script through the WordPress plugin repository for your WordPress blog. The uploading to your server is built into the script, so you will have everything you need once you install it on your blog.

  3. Thanks for your quick response.
I have now installed wordpress3 to my server.....I have also installed and activated PhotoSmash plugin through wordpress....But now I want to know how I have to show the photos in my site....the design is exactly as you done in the demo gallery...since I am a beginner, it will be helpful for me if you tell step by step (I have complete first 2 steps, that is I've installed wordpress and photosmash plugin in my server). Can you help me how to proceed after this?

    Thanks.

  4. Hi Devine,

The easiest thing to do is to Edit the Post that you want the Gallery on and add this shortcode in it where you want the gallery to be:

With that, you should see a gallery and an upload link when you view the post. After you view it the first time, you can go to Gallery Settings and start tweaking it (select it from the dropdown and click Edit). It won't exist until you view your post the first time.

To set it so anyone can upload:
    1) Add the shortcode ( [photosmash] ) to your post
    2) View the Post
    3) Go to Gallery Settings in the Admin
    4) Select your gallery in the dropdown, click Edit
    5) Go to Uploading tab
    6) Select the Minimum role you want to let upload....Subscriber is the lowest logged in role...Anybody let you upload even if you're not logged in

    Hope that gets you started.
    Byron

  5. Thanks...I got it now...
I have yet another doubt. I want to show the link for "signup" or "register" for new user. Also even after they sign up, they should be allowed to access the site only after approval. Can u help to do this?

    Thanks.

  6. Also I want the link for slide show in photosmash...

    Thanks
