You can also do this using the Standard Form and Standard Layout...To get your field to show up on the Standard Form, you need to go into PhotoSmash Settings / Advanced and turn on "Show Custom Fields in Default Form". That will show all of your custom fields in the standard form. There are several default options and any custom fields you create in the PhotoSmash Admin --&gt; Custom Fields page will be automatically added to the list. Just pick and choose which ones you want to include--add a little html/css formatting and then create a photosmash shortcode to put into your post.
