hi the Byron. here's another challenge.
I've setup PS to link to an attachment page: works perfectly.

but now, I want to move the "rating functionality" to the attachment. Effectively, I want users to be able to rate the attachment and consequently update the gallery rating.

This is what I've done.
I've looked at the bwbps-rating.php page and I think the functions I'm looking for are in there.

However, how do I build the argument ($o_rating) for the get_rating function?

alternatively...

I've written a SQL request to get the rating of an image (attachment). Now I just need to find a way for users to continue rating / voting on the attachment page.

thanx a million

Hi there. - Awesome plugin. I haven't even used wordpress before let alone a plugin. But I needed something like this for a client and have jumped right in. I'm pretty much there except for two things which I can't get right. I am using the advanced html layout editor with some custom fields.
1. My font size wont change even if I put in html
2. My tables aren't showing 4 images across. (which is what I want).

Here is my code

[thumb_linktoimage]
[GigArtist] on [GigDate]
Venue: [GigVenue]
Time: [GigTime]
Website: [url]

Hi I am trying to use one of your galleries to link through to another page on my site. (I want to add a custom url of my choice)

So far I have set Photosmash Settings:

1) Default image caption style:
Caption (thumbs & captions link to user submitted url)

I have set Gallery Settings to:

2) Default image caption style:
Caption (thumbs & captions link to WP Attachment Page)

and in the Photo Manager I have set the specific image "URL" to my desired page location.

All I want is to have the gallery link through to another page and not display the image shown.

Please help :)

Hey Byron. Two questions related to tags.

Can I use something like this :[photosmash gallery_type=tags no_form=true tags='a+b'] so just shows images that have exclusive both tags?

Other one. I use on custom form that:
[post_tags value='post_tags'] but I want to add custom tags to be included with the post_tags ones, is it possible to do that?

Thanks already for your time :)

Hey Byron. Sorry for so many question in such a sort time :)

So here we go. Can I display the users images in or as albums instead of all images all together in the same gallery?

Right now i am using this code to show the users images:

$gallery_parameters = array( 'author'=> ###, 'gallery_type' => 'contributor' );

show_photosmash_gallery( $gallery_parameters );

Thanks!!

Hiya,

The <default> upload form, using a <std_widget> - is difficult to read, is it possible to edit the default upload form appearance - avoiding creating a whole new form in the custom form editor?

Hey again Byron. :)

Is it possible to call the users favorites on a different page?

I have a custom profile page that shows the users pictures using a code from this post http://smashly.net/community/topic/add-author-galleries-to-custom-page#post-1042

I wonder then if is possible to call the user favorites like in a similar way, so the "user pictures" and the "users favorites" would be shown on the users custom profile page?

Cheers :)

byron this plugin is great!

I been reading a lot the forum to learn things on photosmash, but i am not an advanced user and i got to a problem that i don't know how to solve.

I want to add the tag field on the upload form. I know that to add it I have to add "post_tags=true post_tags_label='Add tags:'" but I know that things are missing and this other things on this shortcode I don't know how to do it.

1. Could you please tell me the full code to have the standard Upload form plus the Tag field?

2. Not being this the standard upload form, is it going to work together with the wordpress media library?

Thanks.
